The best thing ever just happened. :)
I'm at home today catching up on some laundry and feeling a bit lonely. When you're used to having your sweet seven year old with you all day, everyday, life becomes a little drab when she's not here. She's my little side-kick and makes my life so much better.
So I was just thinking about how much I was missing her and then I started wondering if she was missing me too and thought to myself, "Probably not. She's having a blast and I'm sure I'm the last thing on her mind."
Then the phone rings.
And it's my Brenna.
She was calling me just to say hi and that she loved me and missed me. She said she was having a great day and just wanted to call to see what I was doing.
There could not have been a more wonderful time to receive that phone call. I love the way things happen sometimes. Now I'm smiling because my little girl made my day so much brighter.
